How we started

Alder & Finch began with a single garden community in Dallas and a promise to answer every maintenance request within one business day. We still keep that promise, and the founders still walk each community every season.

How we run a community

Each community has its own leasing office, its own maintenance technicians and its own phone number. The person who shows you a home works in the same building you will live in.

Where we are going

We add a community only when we can staff it properly. Today that means Austin, Dallas and Fort Collins.

Three communities and 490 homes, in Austin, Dallas and Fort Collins.

Questions residents ask us

How do I apply?

Apply online from any community page. You will need photo ID and proof of income, and the leasing office explains screening before you pay anything.

How do I pay rent?

Pay in the resident portal by bank transfer or card, or set up autopay there.

How do I request maintenance?

Send requests through the resident portal at any time. For an emergency, call your community's phone number, which is answered around the clock.

Can I move to another Alder & Finch community?

Yes. Residents in good standing can transfer between our communities. Ask your leasing office to start one.

Do you have accessible homes?

Every community has accessible homes and makes reasonable accommodations. Tell the leasing office what you need and they will show you the homes that fit.
